How to Activate Toshiba e-Studio 305 Printer?

Condition:
We have a Toshiba e-Studio 305 multifunctional copier in our office; It has a network card and when I connected the device to the local network the printer was detected and installed on the computer using the provided drivers; However the machine does not accept and perform print orders; Also the Print button on the machine's panel does not turn on when I press it (only a beep sound is heard, like the one when you change to Copy and e-filing).
Questions:
1. How can I enable the Print function on this device?
2. Is there any hack or patched firmware for it?
3. I know that there is some sort of usb dongle that enables print/scan function, is there any way that I could create such a dongle using ordinary USB memory sticks?

There is a code to allow printing in 08 mode,however this is a trial function which only lasts 60 days after which you have to purchase the printer or printer/scanner dongle. No way around it I'm afraid.

The e/s 305 does not require a dongle, print and scan are standard in North America.
Have you setup the IP address?

1. Yes, I could ping the device IP and even I entered the IP in the browser and accessed its control panel through the web interface.
2. Where can I get that trial version and how is the process; who has made this trial, and can anybody possibly hack the code to give full access to what we have already bought! (this is really Defective by Design!)

Depending on the Country you are located, the Print/Scan functionality may or may not be included in the the copier.

If not included neither it nor the Service Manuals are free.

This is a not uncommon design philosophy for many products. The feature is embedded in the product but you must purchase a software Key to unlock the functionality. There is no "Hack" to unlock Print/Scan, you must have a physical proprietary Toshiba Print/Scan USB key in the copier for the feature to become enabled.
