e452 RADF keeps coding e712, MR-3018, help please

I have a handfull of these 452's in the field with the MR-3018 RADF, a couple of them keep re-occurring with e712 codes, machine stops and says "check original and set again", then gives code e712.

code e712 - book says : RADF jam, jam not reaching the registration sensor, the original fed from the original feeding tray does not reach the registration sensor.

I first replaced pick up, feed, and sep. rollers. Then I blew RADF out with air, then I scrubbed all other rollers in RADF, no help, still e712 intermittently...

I tried to do 05-356 RADF initialization, but this must only work on the e450 with MR-3015 RADF ?

Who has a fix for this problem, any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

      hello

try to chech if the original lenghth sensor and registration sensor is working. My opinion is that one of they are not working and you have to replace the sensor.I don't think that the RADF board is broken, but it could be.

      good look

My company has replaced all the sensors in 3018's due to a bad batch of them making it into the market. Only way to really kill the issue is to replace them.
PM me if you still need some help.
