[Error Code] toshiba 351c updating to latest firmware get error loadModule

Could anyway help with this error?

2GB Kingston, formatted to FAT
using 80GB Seagate HDD (also tried with original HDD, same error)

using es5310 firmware bought from justmanuals.

that requires the 451c/351c/281c firmware not 5310c.
Toshiba firmware is model specific.

As Mr Spock said, you must have the correct firmware for the model, you cant use 3510c firmware for this model.

Just like the others said - Firmware between models will not work, also the older machines may reject some of the later USB Keys (try an older 1GB key), there are Service Codes etc. which also need to be entered to enable correct machine operation.

I was told that this fw is suitable for es310c.Also what happens after you press 0&8 when powering on. I.e what should the screen be displaying?

Pressing 0 & 8 and powering on will put you into Setting Mode and depending which Code you enter, the Display should read 'CONTACT YOUR NEAREST TOSHIBA TECH' .

Thx for the reply Canon Bundy.I have a few questions, hopefully you can answer:1. When I press 0&8, I end up with " cannot find hdd data" and not the above display? The hdd has been replaced but not formatted, and only C&3 then 3. Do you know how I can proceed further?2. If the fw I have is not for the machine, what should it be and the name of it?

Dry Torch, 08-900 will display your current F/W however as you have replaced the HDD, you can no longer access 08 Mode.
Assuming you have the correct F/W and it has been unzipped to the ONLY Folder on your Compatible USB Key, you need to open the Folder & Copy the File 'MENTUSB 0' to the Root Directory of the Key.

1/. Insert the Key into M/C > HOLD 4 & 9 > Power ON.

If the Display doesn't tell you 'Wrong Key' or something similar then you may be ok - the Display will then show up to 6 items with a '*' symbol beside each Item (these will be automatically updated when the Start Button is pressed) BUT we DO NOT want to do this as conflicts can occur and display 'HDD UPDATE FAILED' - Select ONLY 'SYSTEM' and 'HDD' together (untick the others by entering their numbers) > press Start (takes about 10 mins) if successful then 'UPDATE COMPLETED' will be displayed after the 2 selected Items.

If this is successful then Power Off and reinsert Key (as in 1/. above) and select the other Items to be Updated (make sure to DESELECT SYSTEM & HDD).

Assuming all is good now, remove Key and enter 08 Mode, check 900 for new Version, enter 947 Init-yes, 1119 init-yes, 693 Init-yes.

Shutdown M/C correctly and power up - should operate. Cliff.

Well that isn't going to happen since you filed a dispute against me on Paypal. The last email I told you I'd get back to you after I spoke to my Toshiba guy, the next morning you filed the dispute. There will be no more emails from me. All correspondence will be done on the PayPal site.
