I have a client who is having problems using her toshiba e2830c and using 12 x18 glossy thick paper from the bypass tray. the image quality is not good the paper looks like it is lifting off the transfer belt prematurely. she is using the setting of thick 4 back it used to be set to thick 3 back and worked fine for quite awhile. I have replaced the second transfer roller already. the machine has around 200000 on it at the present time. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Image quality problems e studio 2830c
The transfer bias is applied from the 2nd transfer facing roller inside the transfer belt not the black sponge roller, I've seen transfer issues using thick paper many times on the 3510c and replacing the facing roller with the coated one from the 2830c usually fixes it, other times I've had to replace the belt as well. If this same stock worked from new try changing the facing roller inside the transfer belt and then the transfer belt. It was probably over spec to begin with but worked for a while as the roller and belt aged now your kinda stuck.Comment
