Re: Eraseable copies-----wow
Nuts.
Nobody needs that. Will be the cause of massive paper transport issues. Can you imagine a junky sheet of paper laying around with sticky notes, phat phinger prints on it or crumbles from the chocolate cookies just eaten at the desk......
Not to mention the high security risk. Previous erased text can be made visible enough for sure again since the toner is not removed but discoloured only.
Reducing carbon footprint is a good idea. Why not getting rid of those idiotic cartridge based systems where a crap load of materials are thrown only because the toner is depleted? Or getting rid of those chips forcing one to exchange units though still good enough for many more prints?

Re: Eraseable copies-----wow
We have enough problems with new, pristine paper. Image someone pulling out 10 year old paper and trying to re-feed it again. Wrinkles, jams, skews, staple holes, punch holes, flipped corners, scratched drums ... yeah, I can hardly wait.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Eraseable copies-----wow
I applaud the technology. but...
The biggest flaw I see is that it assumes the owner of the machine keep everything they copy/print.
I would think output is mostly used for distribution or archiving.
oh yea, and it only prints in blue!Comment

I am sure the owners of any Copier will be able to tell you they have a pile of erased paper from the machine that didn't make it to the Drum/Transfer Units, but we call them JAMS.Comment
