Hi all. I would like to hear your opinion about the cleaning blade BL-2320. The compatible Katun cleaning blade works well? How long does it last aproximately? The difference between the price on compatible and original is very high. So, do you choose katun or original when it comes to the BL-2320 cleaning blade?

Re: Toshiba BL-2320 - katun or original?
I can't say for sure for Toshiba, but I can say for sure for Canon, Ricoh, and Sharp. Generic rubber parts are notoriously unreliable. That includes rollers, cleaning blades, and seals. One of my employers was supplying new Katun rubber rollers, which often fed worse than the OEM Canon rollers with 200K feeds. Some generic fuser rollers are OK. Don't use the generic toner or developer. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Toshiba BL-2320 - katun or original?
I have used both blades in Toshiba and OEM seems to last a little longer (10-25%). The katun feed rollers last 25-50% Less for some reason. Make sure you lubricate blade and drum before inserting in machine and they should be ok.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!Comment

Re: Toshiba BL-2320 - katun or original?
We used Katun blades exclusively on our Toshiba machines in the field but ran into too many issues with them wearing out prematurely so we went back to Toshiba. And avoid Katun color toner like the plague! We tried it and it cost us a bundle in failing process units and transfer belts. Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?Comment
