Toshiba e-studio which recommended UBS Flash Drives ?

    Hi,
I am trying to update a e-studio 2500c, but no matter what memory stick i use i get an error "Inflate Error, please change USB storage or please check ROMDATA"
Admittedly i only have flash memory drives 2GB and above, could this be this problem?
I have read you are only meant to use 128mb or 256mb sticks and not cards connected to a memory reader.

Any one able to shed some light on what the error means or which flash sticks i need to be using?

I have the correct firmware and the mentusb.o in the root of the flash drive.

    Thanks in advance.

I still have 256mb and 512mb for the older models and have worked fine for years. I keep them in my man drawer now in case of emergencies along side the radiator key, spare car key and batteries.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

Toshiba had a firmware file that gave this error. Download another version and see if that works.
