[CQ] Toshiba e-Studio 506 line only on scans

I am installing a new Toshiba e-Studio 506 copier that has a "line" from top to bottom on the left side. It looks as if the image is shifted to the right and the line is actually the left edge of the original. This only happens when scanning to usb, to file, etc. It works fine when you print to it or when you make copies, both on the glass or document feeder. Thanks in advance. Juan

Have you tried updating the firmware (same or newer version)?

No, I have not tried to update the firmware. I am talking to Allen of Collins distributing about this problem and He has been very helpful. The issue is still unresolved so my next step is to go onsite and call Toshiba directly.

PS:I might take a few days to get back because it is Carnival Time (Mardi Gras) in south Louisiana and most places are going to be shut down until Wednesday!
