estudio 350 problem

the paper stop at registration roller. this happens just when using 1st cassette
but 2nd cassette is working well thanks for any ideas
by the way the feeding unit replaced but no use

Mine was the Registration clutch, just had one the other day.

It can still be the registration clutch. As they age the response time can slow so paper feeding from 1st cassette jams but because it took more time for the paper to travel from tray 2 the clutch had a chance to activate.

Yes my second tray worked fine as well. but the first tray would jam and if it didnt jam the lead edge was 2 inches off. Theres also a sensor towards the rear of the reg. roller you could try and blow out. it kind of hard to spot but its there.

there is a cover beside the registration roller,lock system,you can change it I hope problem will be solved.

Hi Rya
You check the spring of paper guiding at the place where paper begins transfering to regbist roller. I have trouble with this , only first tray miss feed other is ok. When I checked the paper guide at front regist roller and found out it's spring is lost. replaced another one It was ok.

try changing the cassette for some reasons the ha a bad mold and some cassetees are trouble some
