We are having intermittent print problems, when the print job is sent the data light flashes on the machine but nothing will print. The job status never shows the job, the data light just continues to flash and all other print jobs will go thru. To clear we have to delete the job out of the computer print queue and power cycle the machine. It has done it from multiple computers and different documents, (PDF,word, access). We reloaded the print drivers on all the computers, updated firmware on the copier, formatted the hard drive, replaced the memory chips on the system board, plugged the machine in to a different port. None of these have helped. The machine will work fine for a couple of days to a week then lock up again. I was just looking to see if someone had any other ideas before we start replacing boards.

Re: e-studio 2330c printer problems
Not a solution but some hints.
Pick a "problem file" and check if it makes problem on 3-4 PCs, without restarting eS2330c. Delete from queue restart machine and do the same. Check same file using your mobile PC and direct network cable connection. Also check ping and web interface availability when some file stuck. Try network init in 08.
BRI'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads. -
Re: e-studio 2330c printer problems
You might check the wall power. On a couple different Copystar models I've documented power disturbances locking up the print card. Hours later the network would reconnect by itself and start printing. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: e-studio 2330c printer problems
Thanks for the help.
We are able to ping and bring up the web interface when it has the print job lockup. We have taken a document that had problems and the next day it prints fine, so we don't think it has to do with what they are printing.
I had not thought about it being a power problem with the rest of the machine working good. We are putting a power monitor on the machine to track power and see if there are issues when the machine locks up.Comment
