    estudio 356 C580 error

    Customer wanted to add a finisher to a E356 we sold,
    Had a trade in that had mj1101 finisher on it, tested fine on the trade in. Removed IPC and all necessary parts to add finisher, install,comes up c580. changed 08-4548 to 0 still c580. brought it all back to the shop and plugged it back into the doner machine and works fine. Am I missing something?

      What firmware level are the finisher and converter PWB at?
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

                  if I upgrade the F/W to the machine will it jive with the IPC card all at the same time?

                      Nope. You'll require a special jig to upgrade the firmware for the finisher, and the converter board. It's an entirely separate operation, and totally unlike upgrading machine firmware. =^..^=
