Toshiba e studio 353 sram error does it initalize?

I have Toshiba e 353, after replaced HD and install new firmware, machine show sram error does it initialize? when I try 08 service mode, won't let me go to 947
anyone help please

Did you do a 3/clear 3 and 3/clear 2 prior to updating the firmware?

There is a jumper (blue) next to the battery. remove it for 15 min (with the machine off) After 15 min. replace it go into 0-8 service when ask to initialize sram do it should fix the problem

I tried 3/clear 3 and 3/ clear 2 and also remove jumper after 15 min, still no luck, won't let me initialize sram

Check the battery voltage (seen dead batteries cause this problem) If bat is ok check the Nvram on Sys bd. Remove it from socket check for any opened traces under it.

battery voltage is .134 is that normal?

I replace new battery 3.2 vol, still same problem

The battery was dead. Is supposed to be above 3.0 V. After replacing bat do same thing again with the jumper but before format and partition hdd again . Install firmware to Sys board and hdd.
This time after installing firmware turn machine off and remove jumper again for 15 min. Replace jumper back and go to 0-8 mode and see what happens.

I have no luck, I replaced bat and new firmware same error, what else can I do?
