Is the E Studio 2050C a laser printer/copier? Yes, of course. And all laser based printers require a lead edge void. Without a leading edge void the prints will wrap onto the heat roller and jam. That's why many of the more recent MFP's are designed for full bleed, or 12" x 18" paper, so you can trim away the voids to get an edge to edge 11" x 17".
You won't get edge to edge printing on any laser device. Maybe you need an inkjet printer? The fact that you even asked the question suggests that you do not understand the laser printing process. =^..^=
