If the value is not within the range of 235% to 245%, press the Up or Down icon to adjust it.

      Hi,

you have to check also the value of toner, as you mention 233 - 245 is bias developer charge. this both value is response each other. regarding your problem, if the value toner is not change automatic and even you have adjusted by increase the value but not change anything, you have to check sensor toner, and developer unit, or gear inside machine just in case if the mixer won't rotate.

        Hello,

This is an "old" thread but I'll bring this up anyway just incase someone else see it. Of course, check the things already mentioned. The fact he said it wouldn't "take" some of the values he was entering is weird. Check 08-257 and make sure the counters match. You aren't getting a "check total counter" message are you? If so you might have a board or ROM problem. I've seen the 08 codes go bonkers, as well as the 05 codes from a bad chip.

        Just a thought...
