    [Misc] Toshiba estudio 281c

    Hello everyone,

Our Toshiba estudio 281c just run out of Cryan ink this morning. Does anyone happen to know how to go around it?
We usually just print in B&W. I ordered the ink, but it will be here at the end of next week. i am not able to print or copy at this moment.

    Thank you so much,

    Ava

    Happy Holidays!

The way to solve it is to install a new cyan toner. The machine must be able to perform color calibrations periodically, and it requires each color toner to do that. Even if you only print black and white, the machine must be able to perform color calibrations. That's it.

    Don't be cheap. Buy a toner. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Whilst what you are saying is 100% true - come on BlackCat - she has ordered a toner - give the lady a break - she wished you Happy Holidays after all....although I know what you are getting at is that some would want a code to avoid buying anything ever again......probably some would want to over-ride the no paper alarm......!!!

        I apologize, Ava.

Of the posts I read, about half have the following theme:
        1) I don't know anything about copiers
        2) I don't want to pay for a tech
        3) I don't want to spend any money
        4) I don't want to think. Tell me what to do (as long as it's not too difficult).
        5) I don't want to use any of the available literature. Please read it for me.

The posts that I seek to answer have the following theme:
        1) I am an experienced technician
        2) & 3) I don't mind paying when necessary
        4) I expect to have to do some work once in a while, and I have taken some action already. I don't expect you to do it for me.
        5) I've read the available literature and this specifically is what I don't understand:

Only a very small percentage of those threads meet any of these criterion.
        It's disappointing.

        Happy Holidays. =^..^=
