    does not print from pc e studio 452 windows 7

    hi friends, today I went to install a e studio 452 as a local printer, but do not print, my steps was
    1)download a universal driver of 452 from Toshiba site
    2)add printer>add a local printer> Lpt 1 (printer port) / USB001/uSb002>Next>Have disk>browse>universal driver file name>ok>next>replace the current driver>next>next>finish . But it still does not print now.Have any suggestion please???

      What sort of connection did you have in mind? USB? Is the PC recognizing the USB connection when you plug in the cable? Have you tried a different USB port, or restarted the PC? It's fairly common for USB ports to go inactive, then not become active again until you reboot the PC. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Do you have a print dongle fitted
          Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

                  Very confusing...you mention LPT and USB, how exactly are you hooking this thing up? As far as the dongle, if you don't have one, or you have the wrong one it wont print. You can tell by going into ADMIN/REPORTS. If you can print the PCL and PS test pages then you should be good to go. I do believe Toshiba had a separate USB driver for this model. It might be that you are trying to use the PCL driver through a USB port. When you plug the 452 into your workstation with USB, that's the point you want to add the driver. Emujo

                      You try to download this driver and re-install again. http://www.mediafire.com/download/gw...r_win_7(2).rar You pay intention that your window 7 is 32Bit or 64 Bit?. If you use USB port, when you plug it in, the computer auto recognizes printer. your dongle is print/scan? If It's Print/scan. You try to press Scan buton. Is the Led of scan buton light? If It's not light, maybe your machine has not recognize the Dongle yet .
