eS6520 Very staticy originals after scanning

No great surprise here. This customer finds something to break each time I visit. Most of the time it's completely unrelated to the problem called in, so I have at least two problems to address.

The problem called in was CE00 and E980 jams, and completely unrelated to the original problem.

I had noticed that my originals were sticking to the underside of the duplex tray, effectively reversing the order of the originals until they started dumping on the floor. The resulting pile of originals is so staticy that they won't re-align.

During my investigation, I noticed that the lower guide assembly that drops down doesn't latch properly, and when released it was quite loose and floppy. The ear that supports the front was broken out. In the picture you can see my SPC and cyanoacetate repair.

The real surprise is how difficult it is to get that guide assembly free of the RADF. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Probably wouldn't take much, to take a stripe of mylar, glue it to the bottom of the exit tray in a way that it forces the paper into the tray, if needed.
Also, make sure the metal grounding strip is touching the underside of the static brush. I don't know how customers do it, but I find them bent out of shape all the time.

This one was deformed too, but making contact. I don't see how they got to it. It's nearly impossible to reach. =^..^=
