    [Misc] Toshiba E-Studio 257

    Dear Experts,

    Can anyone suggest me how good the E-studio-257 machine??. How was the maintenance? give me your feedback about this machine??

    Well, it's a follow up from the 256 series, then a follow up the 255 series, ... all of which aren't that great. All three families of machines are well known for jamming, skewing, delivery gate getting knocked out, and so on. The 256 series seem to shear the drum drive roll pin, and I suspect the 257 series will be similar. There are better machines out there. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I have many of the e256 series in the field and just installed a few of the new e257. The copiers work well with no significant complaints from the technicians. All of the problems from the original e255 series seem to be resolved.

      I have one e456 making upwards of 30k month for the last eight months with no significant downtime other than PMs.
