    estudio 4520c black

    Hi,

I'm with a problem in a Toshiba 2330c, sometimes in copy and print, appears some black lines on the sheet, not always in the same place, sometimes more to right, more up, more down or more left, this appears in only some pages.
Already change the black block for another machine, and still the same.

    Page0001.jpg

That it's a perfect example, there are a lot of lines in the copy.
In print appends the same. And if its a color original, the lines are still in black. And if only one color copy, the lines still appear black, and the rest in the color selected.

    Some idea?

    Thanks

Have you looked at the black drum or tried to us a mono colour copy/print narrow it down to just the black. From the distance between the marks and the marks themselves looks like the drum maybe marked. Thats all i can gather from the image and my beer goggles.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

It looks to me like primary transfer belt cleaning. On this series of machines is a major pain to re-install the primary belt cleaner. It's easy to screw it up. I know since I've done it myself may times.

To be sure, remove the primary belt assy and look at the belt. You'll see the streaks on the belt. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yeah, looks like fuser offset, or drum not cleaning.

Which direction are you feeding? A4 or A4-R?

Two things i've had numerous issues with on the 4520c & slower speed models (3520c etc... ) & on the newer EBX ( 4540cse etc... ).....

1: the charge blocks on the inside of the rear frame of the machine start to arc out, often they will throw a C970 error, but also often they won't & they'll give you poor print quality / marks on prints / corruption on prints ( the blocks have been modified & are now grey instead of black, but i've still had the issue on the modified ones )

2: The erase lamps stop working, they are split in to two banks - front half & rear half, so you'll have either all the erase lamps for the particular process unit lit from the front of the machine to the middle ( & the middle to the back not working ) or the opposite & the front not working. This is well worth checking also if you're having dev wearing out quickly or going grey & lumpy, i've lost count of the amount of support calls i've gone to with engineers where they've changed so many parts including complete process units & it's only been the erase lamps at fault

other items to consider may be the 1st transfer charge blocks in the transfer belt unit broken, the 2nd transfer ( as someone mentioned previously ) , make sure the 2nd transfer has a good earth ( earth spring at rear end of roller ) , make sure you dev leveller gap isn't set too wide or toner / dev compacts against the drum & give you marks on copies.

Try stopping the copy while it's travelling through the machine ( before it reaches the fuser ) & see if the mark is there before fusing
Try stopping the copy while some of the image is still on the drum & check if the mark is on the drum

Once you rule out what it's not, you will be left with what it is
