it did have a message that "printer maintenance due" so i went in and cleared the PM counter and set cylcle to "0", cleared the replacement parts counters but same thing.Hytec said to reformat HDD but the codes i have didn't allow me do do that. i can print out a total count page without interrupt being on. and the machine is not connected to any USB or network cables. i have tried to change the paper try drawer selections, everything i can think of. its like its dead. but if i press the interrupt, it will then work. i have rebooted several times. does anyone have any ideas please? thank you very much, Jim

I'm not sure what your goal is, but if you set the cycle to '0' it will definitely display the maintenance indication all the time. The PM counter is U252. You will need to reset U252 to '0', and reset the cycle to 64,000.
Did you do any other simulations? It would be a good idea to stir that developer, and reset the individual parts counters in 6S-2. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi and thank you. my goal is to get the machine to copy without having to have the "interrupt" button light on. i can change the zero to one or what ever, but after i did the resets that i did, there were no printer maintenance due showing on the LCD display. i want it to copy with the interrupt not turned on. JimComment
