    E-Studio 355 Intermittent E20 Jams

    Hi Guys,
I have a machine that will run 20,30,50 copies and then it throws an e20 code. I have replaced the ADF and letter tray feed rollers.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks much,
    Buddy

BTW-Does anyone else have trouble doing searches on this site. Seems no matter what I search for, or how I do it, I always get "nothing found."

        Hi:

Can you provide more information like: How is it jamming, what tray is it jamming from, amount of copies currently on the copier. There is a raft of updates on that model concerning paper jams.

There are numerous causes for an E020 jam. Tires, transport ,registration or exit sensors, registration clutch, worn actuators and warn guides and Mylar.

Check the copies and see it there is a slight image shift often it is a bad registration clutch or the registration and transport actuators, followed by warn paper guides

Try this search engine. You'll get better results:
Copytechnet Forum Search - Via Google

It would help even more to get the jam code correct. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Found that a spring post on the exit unit was broken. I replaced the exit unit plastic about a week ago. Still haven't heard back from the customer, so fingers still crossed. This machine would usually jam intermittently on long runs.
