    Not your everyday C4E2

It's an eS6530C. The motor never turns, never attempts to turn.

We've replaced the fuser motor, LGC PWB, Power Supply, Filter PWB, pinned out every mm of the harness between the motor and the PS. The connector on the LGC shares with the laser fan motor, transfer shift motor, and fuser pressure clutch. Working on the theory that one of these components may be shorting out the supply voltage, we disconnected the latter three items. Naturally it immediately goes into C370 (transfer shift error). With the transfer motor plugged in, it goes back to the C4E2.

I've read the threads about the drive packs, and have replaced a few myself, but it's not the cause in this case. The motor never twitches, even removed and dangling from the wiring.

    Anybody? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It turned out to be a new defective fuser motor. The second fuser motor worked much better. =^..^=

That really sucks when you get a defective new part. You wind up chasing everything else. I refurb a lot of these. I have at least 15 of these that are in shape. I try to keep a 20 and a 40 as bench standards for swapping parts. I have a CE40 problem down thread. You're my only reply so far. We took a loaner. I changed the laser, no change. Next is the HV when I get a chance. Hope it's not a logic PCB. That's the only 30 we have and the logic PCB's are unique to each model.
