    these toner leaking e453's- is a good fix out there?

    I have lots of these e452/ e453 units out running yet, some run clean, alot others just leak toner like crazy on the front frame/reg. roller/corona unit/dv unit areas.
    Of course it is coming from the cleaner unit, when vac. and clean up seals don't really look all that bad, but leaking continues.
    Have there been any mods for the cleaner unit seals, or what have you done to help this issue?

      Are you sure it's not developer that you see leaking? Machines of this vintage are getting ready for their second or third developing unit, and some techs just don't want to change them. So they vacuum up the leaked developer, pour in some more, and hope that it will go 30 days.

      So if it's statistics you're after, sure you can let the other techs change the parts, and you have very low parts usage. (Sorry this is not about you. End of rant.) =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          No, it's not DV, the cleaner units leak waste toner on front frame

              There is a recovery blade in deveoper unit, I think that is faulty, otherwise u have to change developer

                  check the foam seal on the end of the auger, where the auger goes into the waste bottle.
