Puzzling. If the LCD on the rear is not displaying anything, then the machine thinks everything is OK. Must be software or HDD related.

Puzzling indeed! We are replacing the machine for the client and getting it back to us to keep working on. Hopefully I will post an update soon with the solution!

I would try hard drive then software module and ram if you're sure the SBC is good. Replacing the software module will zero out your billing meter though.

I don't do a lot of Xerox copier work but the con ensues among the posts is it is a power issue. Have you tried a different power outlet? Seems unlikely but that would explain why it worked in your office but not the client site.

I know this issue very much!!!
( machine stuck on green screen or you get "DC250" logo on screen )

1.- You need a new SBC and new software modul. AND ( I always use a new HDD too )
2.- Do an forced altboot.
3.- Machine counters go to zero but the machin is working.

You can go even further;
When the machine will be OK,you could try to do another forced altboot.
Use you old SW modul ( baterry voltage on old SW MODUL must be 2,8V or more ).
Maby you get your old counters back.


If it is posible,check two DIMM-s on working machine.
But I thing that the DIMM-s and HDD are OK.



This must work.
