You need to install vsel pwb if you want to connect fiery on c550.
You can not use ex260 fiery.

You cant use the Fiery from a Xerox machine type to another machine type.
You need to find Fiery designated for XC550 machine.

I have the 250 that I use for parts, I can take the pvs and mount it on the 550, I asked the rip because the "fiery EX server" for the 550 is identical to the EXP260

You can not use any pwb from dc250 on xerox c550.

There is no difference between these two part numbers.
960K54021 is newer and maybe have some modification, but you can use both of them.
