you may need to get a new HDD or could be a problem with the RAM board could be bad or needs to be updated but if its not completely booting up its most likely the HDD
green screen=hard drive 99% of the time. try an altboot 1st it will tell your if error then you know it is your hard drive. hard drive is usually 250gb or newer 320gb although the 250gb will aways work and is cheaper/cheapest. Sometimes it is the hard drive cables. Replace them to see if problem is them.
