xerox 550 Error Code for my finisher 047-320

Hey guys,
My finisher has a error code 047-320. If i unplug the finisher the error go's away. is a connection problems?
How can i fix it?

If this is an D series finisher, then most likely your PWB, Finisher shorted out already.

this could be a simple thing as the power cord pulled out on either end of the finisher or it could be 1 of 4 things that went wrong
first cheat the front door of the finisher and power up the copier and watch the stapler, hole punch and decurler it initializes in that order so check which does not work and check that but if they all check out then its the finisher pwb.

I think i Need a communication cable for my booklet finisher. I keep getting and error code 047-320.
I paid i guy to come out and he cleaned it and the error went away. I have frayed communication cable that might be the problem.
Where can i get one?

Are you sure cable problem? If so, this is its part number: 962K74860, this cable connect I/F module to D finisher. There is a shorter one, PN 962K03170, this called communication cable. Check with people at Item inc, www.iteminconline.com to see if they have it. Good luck.
