    D95/D110 Trouble spots.

    Hi All

I am working in an in an environment where I am stuck replacing the consumables in these boxes and making the customer happy.. Unfortunately C.S. from Xerox has been less than adequate and the customer is PISSED.. ... So , For future reference I was wondering what the trouble spots are for these boxes and if I can do anything when replacing the CRU. to possibly catch potential problems ?

    Thanks.

Developer gears tend to stick when releasing to replace the drum unit, also the drum unit sometimes wont engage the switch to detect it's presence.

      Thanks
Do you also know what are some of the most common S.C... One has had multiple 012-255 codes and Xerox apparently is having problems fixing this (Five S.C. in 3 weeks). ...
Also , does Xerox monitor their copiers for needed consumables and service calls .

      Thanks again for the help.

The inserter (tray 8) on top of the finisher is faulting, not a big deal if your customer isn't using it.

True...Except this copier has only been in service for 3 months...AND this generates a service code on the op panel..
