DC12 oil metering blade orientation - up or down. Does this look right?

I'm working out an oiling problem with a dc12; the pump was not working which I was able to resolve by opening it and cleaning the valves. I'm now getting oil from the tube and onto the wick, but I'm looking at the way the oil metering blade is installed and it seems backwards to me so I wondered if someone could check or if they knew which direction it should be in. Based on the way the pickup roller turns it seems to me the blade should be pointing down with the metering blade frame into the oil tray, but this machine has it pointing up, resting against the oil tube. The service manual doesn't give a clear picture of this.

I've attached a picture - is this correct?

I found the answer to this - the orientation in the picture is wrong. The metering blade should be installed with the holder in the oil tray and the blade on the bottom surface of the pickup roll, almost touching the wick. When looking from the top you should see the pickup roll and the donor roll and not see the the metering blade.
