    Bizhub 600/750

    hello folks,

Have any one of you (konicaminolta technician specially) encountered a sever over toner for bizhubs 600 and 750 that totally spoiled the copy and toner spill which scattered all over the transfer separation unit and conveyance unit. I just replaced the TCR,Developer(starter) even it's not reaching its copy life of 250,000 copies. (we are not using any fake toners all was genuine).

one more same model bizhub 600/700 any of you guys experiencing a machine w/c is HANGING no KONICAMINOLTA LOGO only the sand dial appears on the screen no reactions on motors its just like a dead machine but the power was there. I upgrade the firmware change the boards but showing same problem.(it shows C2401 if the imaging unit was pulled out the machine)

There was a 20 or 30 page bulletin from KonicaMinolta regarding this pcq/dumping issue. Also check here http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ko...-solution.html
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

I'll have to see if I can find it at work. It was put out by Konica, so if you were a Minolta dealer you might not have seen it.

For the other machine, try swapping out the parameter memory board.

We were originally a Minolta dealership and didn't get it either. It came out for the 7155/7165 Konicas but not fot the Di650/551. All the documntation has Konica on in and no where mentions Minolta. All of it was from before the official merger, so I figure that has something to do with it. We actually got it from our rep after the 7210/5510 came out.

I want to try the KONICA 7165/7155 DEVELOPER DUMPING SOLUTION for the BIZHUB 600/750 'coz as i look physically in the parts of he BizHub there was similarity in parts.
I 'm quite interested on the Bulletin your talking about i was to be a Konica Technician in our country for a long time i never heard about it or my previous company thus not inform us this bulletin .
Same as the company I'm working now they have something in common they are not very supportive for us technicians in terms of bulletins, modification notice, do it with your own that 's they are.

I have never found a perminent fix for the toner dusting/cq problem. The issue is these machines recycle toner which i think is a bad idea to begin with. I've been told that in Japan you can get these machines with a waste toner bottle instead, but they don't offer it in the US because it makes the cost to run the machine higher. I generally vacuum the cleaning section take off the dv unit cover and vacuum the toner build up above and below the mag roller and the filter on the right rear side of the machine, remove the toner dust from the reg roller and run the drum pecularity adjustments and be prepared to do this somewhat regularly. Some machines are better then others depending on environment but I've seen this start happening on new machines with just 30k on them, and it goes back several generations on these machines. Good luck

I know this is a long time coming but here's the document. I couldn't find it and then remembered it was on my old computer, so I had to dust that one off and find it. It seems I can't upload the file. It's a 3MB doc file and the limit is a few K. I tried zipping it, but no dice either. If you want the files, PM me your email and I'll get them to you.

                    Here's your best bet

Here is what I do - probably the same as the bulletins, but in plain English.

                    works on all these models:

                    Minolta DI-551 & DI-650 same as konica 7155 & 7165
                    Minolta Di-5510 & DI-7210 same as Konica 7255 & 7272
                    Bizhub 600 & Bizhub 750

                    Turn Dip-Switch 5-1 & 23-3 to a 1

You are playing with the toner density threshold (the amount of toner supplied to the dev. unit, laser density, and possibly speed rotation of the dev. sleeve - i.e. mag roller)

In any case, it will solve most of your toner dumping issues. With these setting, I usually have to go maybe once between PM cycles to clean out the drum carriage, and even then, it isn't too bad - slight dumping on both ends of the trans./sep. corona assembly - you wont see overtoning all the way across the developer sleeve any longer.

you can also change 5-0 and 23-2 to 1's (in addition to the ones mentioned above) for even lighter setting, but it might cause degradation of your halftones. These two dip-switches should normally remain at zero.

                    Good Luck

                      Re: Bizhub 600/750

                      Hello All,

                      Greetings!

Any luck on the actual Technical Service Bulletin for Bizhub 600 Toner Leaking/Scattering Issue?
And is there really an adjustment for the Developer Mag Roller?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

                      Thanks much!
