[Misc] Xerox 4110 Transfer belt keeps tearing

We are currently looking after a Xerox 4110 B&W machine that continually rips the transfer belt after 100 or so copies on A3 or SRA3. I can run thousands of A4 through without a hitch but always on A3 it runs the belt over to one side a rips it.
This will be the 4th belt we have now put on.
We have used 3 different transfer sections complete. I am at my wits end now.
Any help or advice appreciated guys.

part of being a tech is figuring out what is CAUSING the problem... just throwing parts at it doesn't fix the issue just pisses off the customer. look for the cause.

We have been trying to figure out the cause for the last 3 months both in the workshop and onsite. Most of the belts have been used in the workshop but we cannot see anything that would cause this. That is why I am now asking for help and if anybody else has come across this before. We have gone through the diagnostic process of changing out various sections to rule out possible causes.
The service manual and eureka don't seem to have any further information about this

Do you have a photo of a ripped transfer belt?

One of the ripped belts is here - this is one of the more extreme but they all do the same thing.

Yes, and the fuser nip is spot on. It is tracking outboard and tearing on the little earth strap on the lead belt roll, but only when you put A3 in. i have 2 of these machines doing the same thing. Initially they were both in the same client, but now have moved to 2 separate sites. I am starting to wonder if somebody has been messing with the factory adjustment on that bearing at the front. I have an FSB for that, but it is for tracking in general rather than just on A3.

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

I don't know how to fix this... but what a crappy failure.

Make sure that the Earth Plate (A) is installed securely under the Brush Front Bearing.
