I have a client with a Xerox Wide Format 510DP.
The Dell Optiplex 755 on the back of the plotter wont boot.
Gets the screen "Uncompressing Linux... OK, booting kernel" and then does nothing after that.
I have booted from a Hiren's Boot CD and scanned the hard drive for bad sectors and it didn't find any.
From what I have read on here the controller cards and the OS are all Xerox Propriety items.
Does anyone know where I can get the software needed to reload the OS on the PC? Or get a preloaded Hard drive?
Or how to resolve this kind of issue?
I am not a Linux person but i am not afraid of it either. I was a DOS person long before Windows came around.
