xerox 700 077-220 error

Good day, getting this 077-220 pre-reg jam, would print about 10 sheets, then jam at pre point. there is a loud grinding noise seem like every time it tries to either pick up sheet or send it through the pre-reg. Noise happens on every sheet. Changed the whole registration transport assembly, same issue. wondering if the ONLY option can be the registration transport drive assembly motor or am I overlooking something? any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Giving an update. seems as if it has something to do with the duplexing, When I run a job at 300dpi and face up and not duplex seems to work fine. any suggestions? thanks

Yes you need to inspect the components from preregistration motor assy 7K98040.
Worn gears, coupler, etc
