[CQ] Intermittent Dark Background - Xerox WC 5855

Hello all,

I'm stumped on this one. I have an issue with a Xerox WC 5855.

1. According to users, prints/copies are fine.

2. Fax confirmation prints with noise-like-background(quality is similar to tvs that have no signal). Defect is in the center where it shows first fax page preview ONLY.

3. Sometimes it has that defect in center fax page preview AND dark gray background on the whole page as well. FAX CONFIRMATIONS ONLY

THINGS I'VE TRIED

1. Replaced HVPS

2. Replaced DV unit

3. Replaced ROS unit

4. Replaced Fax unit

Not sure what else to troubleshoot. Anyone ever have this issue?

no much point in changing all that expensive parts. It looks like an option enabled suppression or paper issue or try reload other firmware. U can always persuade them no one uses fax these days
