Re: Xerox Altalink C8030 toner confusion
Although the 78xx and C80xx are most LIKELY the same toner material inside, you can't be certain. Force-feed at your own risk.
In the past, Xerox has made small changes, like adjusting the amount of developer mixed in with the toner. Even though the toner and developer were the same in that case, the ratio was different and could cause problems.
They may have updated the part numbers because the C80xx series is (at least on the outside) so redesigned.Comment

Re: Xerox Altalink C8030 toner confusion
Toner composition / Developer ratio may well have changed if the IQ problems at launch are anything to go by. The part number for the packs of developer are the same as Northwood / Spyglass though.Comment

Re: Xerox Altalink C8030 toner confusion
Pretty sure it is the same as the Metered toner has the same part number, and the Metered toners/machines are identical except for the chip.Comment
