What troubleshooting have you done? Did you print out any of the PQ Diagnostics pages?

Start by resetting NVRAM in diagnostics.

Perform a solid page test for all colors.

        Show results.

You do have service manual for machine?

If you knew how to troubleshooting this, you would have started by checking the health of consumables (drums, belt, belt cleaner, 2nd transfer roller). You would have run the Solid Fill Pages to determine the status of the drums. If you saw any anomalies on EVERY page, you would have turned to the transfer belt. If there were any anomalies on A SINGLE color, you would have turned to checking the drums. Sheesh! Troubleshooting image quality on color printers isn't hard as long as you know what you should be looking for.

Just had an image quality issue on this same model and as soon as I saw what the solid fill pages looked like, I knew the possibilities.

If it was working fine, why were you there?

"Senior Tech" really doesn't mean shit here. ALL it indicates is the number of posts by that user... look @ rep power... that sez it all!
