    WC 7545 poor copy quality

    Hi All
I'm working on a Workcentre 7545 that I replaced the black developer and the first 3 prints looked great. Then I ran a printer calibration and the blacks went back to the same way they looked before I replaced it. I have not worked on a lot of xerox machines. I have included the first 4 prints out of the machine. any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advanced.

I think degrading of CQ is right from second page but as you mentioned there is huge difference from 3rd to 4th print.
Check / Clean developer gears, and all bias / Charge contacts

    Hope this helps

Remove the transfer belt and clean the transfer roller for the black.

I've seen this before, bad K toner. Was a new K toner installed recently?

Remove K toner and vacuum out the dispenser assembly, remove K dev tank and vac out or replace tank, new dev.

Bad K toner is blocking the trimmer bar on the K dev tank, if you print a K solid fill long edge feed it will probably look stripy across the page all the way from top to bottom.

Don't put that K toner back in that machine or any other, install a new K toner after completing the above.

          Richard from Xerox is correct.

But instead of bad toner, I stongly suspect "Generic / Compatible" toner which causes the same symptoms.

But fix is the same start vacuuming and dont put crap toner in machine!

Check dispenser pipe assembly and dispenser motor assembly.
