    DC242

    Hi.

I seem to be suffering from thick 300gsm glossy paper slipping in the machine so that the front to back registration is varied from sheet to sheet. There is a permanent skew which is constant and can be worked with no problem but the slipping of the card is so variable and its anything from 1-7mm. This is all from the bypass tray - what would I be looking at first?

    Thanks
    Chris

the service manual covers it pretty well.
are you sure paper type/size is correct on PC and machine?
what is the life on feeds etc?
    LEF or SEF feed?

so much info needed and not provided.

no..i guess you want me to come there and RTFM to you also?

EVERY tech should READ and become familiar with the different sections of the manuals... you guys have it lucky... Techs from my time didn't have : CTN... Google and other extraneous lifelines.
