Print Face Up Xerox 4112

Hi,

I have two Xerox 4112 CP.

I can't send a print Job with face up... i can do it in copy mode.

I don't understand i have used all off drivers model.

With my old Xerox 4110 it was possible.

some help please !!!!

look in your print driver... look for "output"or "finishing" tab..should be in there.

i looked everywhere.... No tab Finishing or Output.

I tried PS and PCL Drivers

I also Tried 4110 drivers with face up option but still printing face down

Ok do you know how to enter admin mode thru the remote user interface? RUI from there you can do just about anything

Some of the drivers don't show the option for Face Up printing. That screenshot shows that you're using the PCL driver, and I don't know what features it might be excluding.

On many Xerox machines, the Face Up option is in the Advanced (catch-all) last tab. What do you have available in that tab?

You're right, normaly face up option is in The advanced Tab.

I checked with PCL an PS driver and Not.

I installed Xerox 4110 PS drivers for test.

The Face up option appear in Advanced Tab but print in face down.....

You may be out of luck then, unfortunately... The 4110 and 4112/4127 speak a SLIGHTLY different language (assuming you're using the built-in Green controller on both) which is why the 4110 drivers didn't work. They would work for most things, but not all.

But re-installing the software, on either the printer or on the computer, won't change the options in the driver. (Assuming it is the same version.) It might fix it if it was there but didn't work, but if it doesn't even show up in the driver at ALL... Well, that's that.

Of course if you put a Fiery on the 4112 you can do Face Up, but us like using a sledgehammer to kill a mosquito.

There is workaround fix for this problem but it involve to do some steps.
First create mailbox - see the machine Administrator Guide.
Then print and in machine PCL6 print driver select mailbox number as paper output.
From machine select Mailbox you printed in. Select the print job in mailbox and change settings/print - output orientation.
