Xerox Workcentre 7655 error "System fault, contact administrator"

I have a Xerox Workcentre 7655 who stopped working, and shows error "System fault, contact administrator" , no fault numbers or anything else

the problem started a couple of weeks ago, rebooting it was the solution to get it it to work for a few days , now rebooting it won't do, it goes straight to that error mood. Scanning is the only service available, printing and copying are not.

I tried replacing the fuser, as I remember I had this a few years ago with another Xerox and replacing the fuser solved the matter.

I don't have the PWS, anything else I can try besides the fuser? do I need to rest anything ?

Try to reseat flat cable from ROS to MCU pwb.
Also disconnect the network cable and restart the machine.
It's a good ideea to have pws diagnostic software for this machine to check error codes.

Enter in diagnostic and check fault history.
Check for 042-326 code.

and also 20.331.00

So I replaced the transfer belt assembly unit with another working printer, so now I get another error "The finisher is not available, contact system administrator"

I recall that the printer encountered a power outage in the middle of a printing job, was printing something, could that maybe have missed up many things?

now, checking the fault history I get error code 20.331 plus the 12.335

looks like something wrong with the finisher yes, another finisher is working with the same printer.

What went bad with the finisher ? any idea?
