[Error Code] xerox versant 80 error 099-339

hi all,
having this error 099-339 Fuser Belt in Limit Fail i moved it back to position and it keeps on happening again mainly when i use 20lb paper i tried a new fuser but the problem continued, would anyone be able to specify why this is happening and what the solution? tnx much

not sure .. but are there "nip" adjustment screws on that fuser? if so did you follow the procedure in the manual

i dont really know where the nip screw is located will look into that, ill advise if anything changes

There are a lot of possible causes for this error ( gears, sensors, etc ) but noting to do with fuser nip adjustments.
You need service manual and follow the proper procedure from there.

hi tnx for your reply, in the service Manuel it just says "Fuser Belt Assembly is out of position. Reseat the assembly and make sure the Belt Edge Sensor is in contact with thebelt edge" so i keep doing this and it keeps on happening again, trying to figure out the cause and how to solve (am i looking at the wrong manual?)

Hello here, just wanted to say thanks because even in 2023 this holds up and can happen also on a versant 2100.
Solution works like charm.
