    Bizhub C224e - Blurry / Fuzzy Printing

I've got a C224e unit thats now printing fuzzy documents. Toner units are all over 50% and are genuine; has always been genuine since its life. Drum units were recently changed as well (checked life and around 90%). I've attached a picture to try and illustrate this:

Tried to attach on the post but i assume the filesize was too large.

This only seems to happen with colour prints. Printing in black & white doesn't present the same problem. I'm at a loss as to what it could be; i've looked at the transfer belt life & transfer roller and those show around the 20% mark. Can anyone point me in the general direction.

    Much appreciated.

I must not be seeing your samples, because you couldn't offer a solid charcoal gray page as a sample for blurry images ... could you? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

....colors not aligning....looks like a registration calibration issue!!! Also, make sure that the cam actuators that engage the rollers behind the transfer belt section of each color are not broken, bound or failing. Take the transfer belt out and look at the actuator cams at the rear of the transfer belt! Non-contact or extra distance of the belt with the drum can cause toner transfer scatter on the belt!

Your color registration is horrible. Have you cleaned the patch sensors? Have you done stabilization and gradation? =^..^=

Nice one. Worked like a charm. I had to erase an old alert on the system via the service mode (old CS call-home mode). I've noticed the toner levels are incorrect; is there a way to update these bar removing and re-inserting? Cyan, Black and Yellow are reporting at 17% when I replaced them with genuine units yesterday so all should be >99%.

Those toner level bar graphs are estimates at best. The only way to get a temporarily accurate reading is inserting new cartridges. The good news is that the accuracy of these graphs is unimportant. When it gets down to 0%, it will stay at 0% until the actual toner runs out.

                Don't give it a second thought. =^..^=
