Hello friendsI have a xerox machine C70 , if the operator tries to print a document with solid colours , the machine tends to not fuser the paper properly more especially art paper, art board (both Mart and ivory) but bond papers are ok.Even if you change to any gramage , still the machine does the same thing. The copy looks like toner is rubbed off and likely where there's black. I checked the fuser and it was ok and even tried changing another one, the paper quality was ok and a mile of initializing NVM thinking that thhere could some NVM values that changed but all never worked for me.the machine still does the same.Am defeated, please could any one help me with such a fault.
Xerox c 70 does not fuse some paper types.

Re: Xerox c 70 does not fuse some paper types.
There are no NVMs you can change or adjust for this.
The only thing you can do is increase the paper weight setting, which you described you had done.
You mentioned you set the paper correct for the weight of the paper, but if that doesn't work, just go higher. Unless you are already selecting the highest gram setting. If that is the case, you are out of luck. You can try the "Coated" paper types (even though it isn't) if you haven't tried that already. If that still isn't working, there is no solution.
This is assuming you are using genuine toners. Generic toners NEVER work properly in these Xerox machines. They often do EXACTLY what you are describing. Generic toners are a guaranteed failure.
If it is genuine, and you've maxed out your paper weight settings, there's nothing more you can do. Some art papers are difficult.Comment
