That option only appears on newer firmware. Update the machines and they will all have it.

71 and 72 are different machines too. Different firmware so different options.

look at your manual for proper update procedures ..

you better have a manual for working on ANY piece of Xerox crap.

As far as I remember the 7120 should have the option. For the 7220 you just need to perform Altboot. Instructions are in the manual (that you say you have) and you can download firmware from the Xerox website.

You can also Altboot the 7120, the procedure is a bit different. The firware is also on the Xerox website afaik.

Prepare a USB Flash DriveEnsure that the USB device to be used has sufficient free space to contain the files to be downloaded.
Create a new folder in the USB Flash Drive and name it DWLD.
Copy the software file(s) obtained in (unzip the file and extract the .bin file if required) into the DWLD folder.
            Start Upgrade
            Power OFF the machine.
            NOTE:
if USB Printing is enabled, the USB port on the Control Panel can be used.
Insert the USB Flash Drive into the USB connector beneath the USB FAX port. The FAX Cable (if present) should remain plugged in during the SW upgrade. This enables the FAX software to be upgraded using this procedure.

            Start the download
Power ON the machine while pressing the Energy Saver button. Hold the button down until Download Mode appears.
After a while, Transferring will be displayed on the UI and the S/W will start to download to the machine .If Transferring is not displayed after 3 minutes, there is a problem either with the USB Device or with the USB port. Make sure the Flash Drive is plugged in all the way. Repeat the procedure with a different USB device.
