Xerox DCP 700 light lines in magenta driving me crazy

Have a DCP700 that is driving me nuts. Light deletions in magenta only (see image - sorry, not the best). The light lines are hard to notice but are there. I have (in this order):

    1. cleaned ROS window
    2. checked developer for debris
    3. swapped drums
    4. replaced belt and cleaner (they were due anyway, or I wouldn't have replaced them)
    5. removed ROS, thoroughly cleaned inside, resealed and re-assembled machine
    6. replaced developer
    7. replaced 1st BTR

Now I really don't know what to do anymore. The only thing I can think of, is that I did not clean the ROS well enough... Although I've done it quite a few times. Back to the ROS, or am I missing something here?

Nope, usually the ROS not cleaned well enough or missed a spot.

Use a flashlight at a good angle for your eye to see the toner on the glass or the ROS mirrors. It's worth taking the extra time to make sure its 100% clean, each time you disconnect those flat cables you risk damaging them.

      Good luck

Re-cleaned the ROS and we're good now. It was really stubborn apparently. Thanks for pointing me in de good direction.
