Assuming that you have cleaned the IBT assy, check and tighten the flywheel screws at the back. Align deve tanks by setting NVM 771-881=1. Run maxsetup and see if the colours align esp. yellow. If yellow is still misaligned, set NVM 720-484=4, 8 or 12 depending on how it re-aligns. Have a go!

How many prints have your machine done?.Have you checked the IBT clutch assembly , you can access it by removing the waste toner pipe assembly.Does a black patch comes in the centre of the print while this issue occurs?

If I think is correct you have a problem with the cluch assembly located behind the IBT assebmbly, I havent touched a DC12 for couple of years i could be rusty .When you open the back cover , you can see a flywheel, remove it , you will find a waste toner pipe , remove it , You will find the clucth assembly with a belt going through it.I think there are two clucthes and one or two gears , clean or replace the clutches and see if any of the gears are broken. If you have another DC12 I suggest changing the IBT assembly and checking before you touch the clutch.

thanks for the concern. i opened the clutch assembly and cleaned the clutch which was dirty. one of the gears, i found on clutch assembly looks little out of threads. i could find only one clutch there. where is the second one?

i have run a few copies (approx. 200) now my copies are better. only very small mis-registration on only yellow color.

                any suggestions..
