Developer housing becomes empty after 15,000 pages. Changed developer housing and continue to add more developer material. But developer material continues to disappear.
I have ordered the board. Should be here in the next day or 2.
I have replaced the drum, both toners, and the developer housing and filled with fresh dev.
The dev housing was completely empty after 120 prints after filling the dev unit with dev .. no toner, no dev was in the dev unit when I took it out and had a look.
I replaced the black dispenser motor, but do not have any developer to test. I did run a 100 pages and no toner was delivered into the developer housing.
I did notice the Black Toner CRUM Read Board .. I'm not sure what this does and can't find anything online. Does this control the black dispenser motor at all ?
OMG .. it just keeps draining the developer housing of everything.
No toner is dropping into the dev unit at all, I am sure.
Have now replaced the K Dev bias board, the black dispnser motor, both black toner cartridges, the dev unit itself, the drum, and the ibt belt.
The shoot is clear, but did notice a little strip with a silver patch at the end of it coming out of the black shoot. None of the other Xerox machines I have worked upon has this acrylic strip with silver patch.
After 375 pages it started to fade again indicating no toner, then at 470 SRA3 double sided pages it produced the toner dispenser error 093-317 and has a NVM of 3.
Ah, so there you go. Troubleshoot the toner dispense motor. You said you replaced it. 100% sure the replacement is ok? Did you reset the NVM to 0? Sure you replaced the dispense motor (flat white motor at the front) for the black toner and not the agitator motor, for example?

This was the old one that we replaced with a new one. That board we replaced looked more like the ones from a Xerox 5580 and not the one Xerox sent us for the 700.
Either way .. we still have a problem with the dispenser motor .. not exactly sure how to run the diagnostic tool on this part .. yes, we have reset the NVM 762-315 to 0
