Good day, xerox 700, was getting 045-316 for a few days, was able to restart machine and would go away, today would not go away, so reseated the ROS cables, now strangely I am getting 061-380, no idea what that is, any assistance would be great.

ROS Data Failure Yellow. Serial data communication is not possible between the MCU PWB and ROS (hidden failure).
Perform the following:
Ensure that the Flat Cable connectors of the ROS Assembly (YM) and the MCU PWB are connected correctly.
Check the connectors on the YM ROS and MCU PWB (PL 11.1).
Reseat the NVM PWB on the MCU PWB.
Replace the Flat Cable (PL 5.1).
Replace the ROS Assembly (YM) (PL 5.1).

I know you said you already tried several times, but as you know the ROS cables on these models are worse than a nightmare. Be super methodical when you go to replace them with the new cable to make sure it isn't just because the cable is being a jerk.
And don't forget to plug in the little power cable above the back of each ROS after you replace the flat foil cables. I mean, not that anyone would EVER forget that... 😇Comment
