Brand new C9065 with Fiery XE-i

3 issues and any assistance would be appreciated.

1, Date and time keep resetting to ... default?

2, Fiery buttons not showing up on op panel, confirmed everything is cool, have 00 on controller, all cables plugged in properly, can see fiery from ip in browser and machine via the webtools without issue, can configure webtools ( to a degree ) and machine via browser.

3. And finally see sample attached.. have reseated K ribbons on mcu, swapped drum, charger and dev. verify dev can paint the drum and transfer is normal (using a flashlight to "paint" image on drum).

Cant get into webtools without password but can't program the fiery without the startup page printing properly which doesnt due to the black issue.

Let me know if ya have any thoughts.. thx!

So found the fiery thing.... the machines password has to be default (1111) or the sn#. Once I switched it the button came up on the op screen.

Unfortunately the BIOS ID is in the portion of the page that fades out and the fiery won't print the config page short edge...

And solved the image thing, above the k drum is a chute that the laser light comes down through, attached to the chute is plate with adhesive that had become detached somehow, it was sitting up too high and obstructing the laser light towards the rear of the device . Managed to reseat it and black is normal now. And the clock seems to have stabilized too . Go figure
