Workcentre 4150 Pages out of order...

    Hi:

I've got a 4150 that will occaisionally print some pages out of order while copying. Some of the sets will be normal, but once in a great while some sets will have mixed up page order. While loading a scanning profile I learned that the expansion memory was bad. Seemed like this might be the culprit, but they say it has done it a couple of times since. Wonder if someone could help with the part number for that expansion memory. We use ScanFlow Store with this machine and they are complaining that the scans are taking a long time. Maybe because the machine is on base memory right now, but if anyone has some ways to speed this up, that would be really cool...

Thanks for taking a look at my problem.

if the machine is using ScanFlowStore the copier's memory shouldn't be the culprit at all. I would go immediately to the computer that SFS is loaded on just to make sure it meets the minimum system specs. That software is supposed to be run on a dedicated server. Then I would change the ethernet speed to what your network is actually running at versus Auto Detect, that has cleared a lot of speed issues on internal networks for me.

I had the same thing happen with a 4150 messing up the order of pages when copying/printing. I did the latest firmware upgrade 2 weeks ago, and haven't heard that the problem is back yet.
